SARASOTA – Dolphin Promotions is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Sarasota Magazine and ABC 7 to help publicize the new Sarasota Winter Art & Antiques Show & Sale benefiting dynamic local charity Designing Women. The new event will open with an early-buying preview gala to benefit Designing Women on Thursday, January 15, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Tickets to the preview gala are $50 per person and available in advance online at or at the door. The show will open to the general public from January 16-18. Honorary Co-Chairs for the event are Jean Weidner Goldstein and Margaret Wise.

Designing Women is Sarasota’s premier non-profit store, featuring upscale designer clothing, jewelry, furniture and home accessories on two floors.  Designing Women’s mission is to grow funding for the Sarasota’s arts and human services organizations. The charitable organization has donated over $1.75 million and has made grants to 72 organizations in Sarasota County over the past ten years.

The Sarasota Winter Art & Antiques Show & Sale will feature 45 carefully selected dealers from across the U.S., Canada and Europe presenting a wide range of quality antique furniture, paintings, silver, bronzes, porcelain, crystal, antique and estate jewelry, pottery, prints, watches, rare books, vintage clothing and accessories, 20th century modern, and much more. The 3-day event will open on Friday, January 16, and continue through Sunday, January 18 at the beautifully-renovated Sarasota Municipal Auditorium located at 801 N. Tamiami Trail, just a few blocks north of Fruitville Road. Show hours are Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, Noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $8 – good for return entry all weekend.

The new show is organized by Dolphin Promotions, who produced antiques shows in Sarasota for over 25 years. After a hiatus of several years, the show organizers are very excited to return to Sarasota with this exciting new cultural event and to support the fundraising efforts of this dynamic local charity organization.
